FULLY FUNDED and Exciting Other Updates!

Hello friends and family~

I’m hopping on here with exactly 14 days until I leave New York to head down to Georgia for training camp! This is becoming more and more surreal as the days get closer. 

Before sharing some of the updates that I have about my route, I wanted to give a shoutout to EVERYONE who has financially and prayerfully supported me up to this point! As of 7/15/2022, I became FULLY FUNDED! I can not thank you enough for all of your support, and for the ways you have trusted God with your finances and have been extravagant in your generosity. I am at a loss for words and all I can say is ~ thank you. Thank you for giving to the Lord and for desiring to see His Word spread among the nations. I am amazed that I sit here to today writing this paragraph, but I also will tell you that when God calls, He always provides.

Jesus says to the church in Philadelphia: “…behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut…” So, for whatever mission God has called you, He will provide! That means that He will supply the means, the wisdom, the strength, the finances, the endurance (etc.) that we need to fulfill HIS calling and purposes. Not necessarily our own, but His callings and purposes.

I know that each one of you are coming alongside of this mission to do what only God can do around the world. So, to summarize my heart in just a few words-

I also want to update you on some logistics of the World Race! 

Some of you may want to know the way things will be going down in the following weeks so below is a bulleted list for your ease of reading! 

• August 25th: Leaving NY to stay with a good friend in GA
• August 27th, 28th: Parent Launch in Atlanta, GA.
  • This is an opportunity for parents, siblings, and/or grandparents to learn more about World Race in person, and participate in a few things with their racer before they leave. My sweet sister Cheryl will be making the drive to send me off!
• August 28th- September 10th: Training Camp in Gainesville, GA. 
  • This is where we will be bonding as a team and preparing mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually for the months ahead.
  • This is where we will be camping, embracing all the bugs and humidity! 
• September 10th: Off to our first country!!!

So, this is going to be a packed schedule but I am looking forward to seeing how God prepares our hearts and minds, as a team, for ministry. In the same vein of informing you of our schedule leading up to leaving the States, I also wanted to inform you of a route change! Below is the updated list of countries we will be going to! (You might remember Kosovo being on the country list, which is now being replaced by TURKEY!)

1. Guatemala (Sept/Oct)
2. Romania (Nov/Dec)
3. Albania (Dec/Jan/Feb)
4. Turkey (Feb/March/April)
5. Jordan (April/May)
6. Thailand (May/June/July)

* These countries may be subject to change. The months listed next to the countries are just my own estimate of the time frame that we may be in these countries. Even though it’s a rough estimate, I thought it will help you to have an idea of our whereabouts while doing ministry throughout the upcoming year!

I am hoping to write a blog or two in the coming days or weeks to explain the specific prayer points, ministry involvements, and ministry focus’ in the respective countries, too! 

As I close out this blog post, I just want you to know how deep my appreciation runs for you.

If you are a believer in Jesus and have given your heart over to Him~ thank you for following along!! My prayer is that these posts encourage your faith and that you have a greater desire to go and make disciples in your own community. May you taste and see of the Lord’s goodness and be excited for how God will use you in the coming minutes, hours, days, months, and years!!

If you do not believe in Jesus ~ thank you for following along!! My prayer for you is that you would realize just how real Jesus is. He’s not just a historical figure or a good man that lived long ago, but He is the only Savior of the world. And if you are uncertain of that, I am so glad you’re here! I hope you follow along over the next eleven months so that you can witness the unimaginable ways that Jesus shows Himself to people, just like you and me!

Prayer Requests

1. Comfort for my family and friends who I am leaving behind in Rochester. That they would experience the fullness of what God desires for them over the next year.

2. My own relationship with Jesus- that I would stay strong and not falter under any pressure of trials. 

3. That God would protect the emotional, physical, psychological, relational, and spiritual parts of my team and me as we go to training camp.

4. God’s financial provision for my WR team members who are still support raising and need to reach $13,000 by September 30th. 

5. That God would immensely bless all those who have given their time, resources, finances, prayers, and lives to help me get to this point in my spiritual walk with the Lord!

6. That God would prepare the fields for harvest as we prepare to go, and that He would prepare our hearts to be changed by the Holy Spirit over the next year!
